History
- The Company was founded in 1922 under the name „MACAZUL”, the main activity being the repairing of the Railway points and bogies for Railway waggons.

- In 1962 the company change his name in „24 Ianuarie”, manufacturing spare parts for equipment for metallurgical and petrochemical industry.
- In 1969 the company was integrated in the company UZUC Ploieşti, which produced equipment for chemical and ferrous metallurgy industry with the name UZUC Nord.
- In 1992 the company came back to the name „24 Ianuarie”.
- In 1997 the company became integrant part of the group UZINSIDER.

- It’s a company with 100% private capital, the main shareholder being UZINSIDER S.A. Bucureşti.
