RESOURCES

         A consistent process for providing and efficiently deploying adequate resources which are necessary for the accomplishment of the organization’s objectives on short and long term, is being developed throughout the organization.

          The Company is provided with:

  • Qualified personnel;
  •  Infrastructure necessary to realize product conformity;
  • Appropriate working conditions;
  • Update information;
  • Suppliers approved as a result of  the evaluation process;
  • Natural and financial resources necessary in order to enable the activities to be performed adequately.


          

          Working area of 30,000 m² (20,000 m² covered area) and 5,500 m² warehouses for materials. 

          Overhead cranes: with maximum lifting capacity 5 to 20 tons, max. 8m clearance under hook.

          Infrastructure for processes of cutting, welding, machining, assembly, shot blasting and painting is available.
         

          The Cutting and Cold Forming workshop is equipped with:
                     • one shot blasting machine for materials before cutting, 2,500 mm x12,000 mm;
                    • two CNC oxy-fuel gas cutting machine and one CNC plasma cutting machine: tmax=250 mm for CS, 12,000x3,000mm şi tmax =30 mm for SS, 12,000x3,000mm;
                    • one CNC laser cutting machine tmax =8 mm for CS and tmax =4 mm for SS, 3000x1500mm;
                     • five rolling machines, tmax=35 mm, Ømin=1,800mm, one of them CNC;
                    • two rolling machines for rolled sections (IPE, HEB, HEA, UNP),  one of them CNC, Ømin=1800mm;
                     • two guillotine shears, including one CNC, tmax=13mm, width=3,000mm;
                    • four bending machines, tmax=30 mm, Lmax=1,500mm,  one of them CNC, tmax=6 mm, Lmax=6000mm;
                     • two circular tape-saws, hmax=350mm, widthmax=400mm, max 600.


          Outfit in the Machining shop: 
                    => Horizontal boring and milling machines, including CNC and electronic display of information, Xmax=2500mm, Ymax=1600mm, Zmax= 1000mm (Bohrwerk);
                    => Universal milling machines, Dmax=3300mm; Hmax=2000mm (Carrousel);
                    => Normal and vertical lathes;
                    => Internal gearing;
                    => Planing machines
                    => Grinding machines.

          The two welding shops use drilling and grinding machines, electrodes and flux drying ovens, electrode carrying cases, different kinds of welding forces – 34 appliances.
          The main welding processes in use (qualified acc. to EN ISO 15614-1/ EN 288-3) are: SMAW/ E-Hand (111), SAW/ UP (121), GMAW/ MIG-MAG (131/135), GTAW/ TIG (141), FCAW/ Flux (136). The Company has also a welding robot which can weld pieces up 3.5 to. The welders are qualified and certified in accordance with EN 287-1/EN 1418 and the welding coordinators have diplomas of international welding engineers.


           A laser instrument – Easy-Laser Ò D670 made by Damalini AB Sweden – is available as a measurement equipment for welded structures.

          In the Corrosion Protection shop - the facilities used are: abrasive blast-cleaning with shots, grits or sand (preparation grade Sa 2 ½ is inspected visually and the surface profile/ roughness is graded/ determined by the means of ISO comparator and replica tape method) and the following application (spraying) methods: conventional low-pressure air spray, airless spray, air-assisted airless spray. Ambient conditions (humidity, surrounding air and surface temperature, dew point) are monitored with adequate instruments. Coatings are checked by visual assessment and dry film thickness is measured at each critical stage with a digital apparatus. Also the device for cross-cut test is available in order to verify the resistance of paint coating. The painting area is in-door, it is heated if required and equipped with exhausting system to ensure proper conditions for this process.

          As part of the measurement and monitoring process of product, the following non-destructive examinations are carried out by our qualified (acc. to EN 473) personnel:

  • penetrant testing;
  • magnetic particle testing (magnetic yoke Y7-welds, KH10-bars and chamferings, 1000A, ultraviolet light ZB 100 F);
  • ultrasonic testing (USN 50 DGS type/Krautkrämer Germany - plates up 200 mm thickness and welds from 8 mm thickness, digital, 12Mhz/110dB, AWG curves);
  • radiographic testing – X-rays (ERESCO 200 MF Seifert Germany type - max. 30 mm thickness, 1.5 mm focus size, air cooling, 900W/200kV/4.5mA);

          To enable the work to be adequately performed and product conformity to be realized, the company is provided with facilities, equipment and support services such as:

  • information system (having as resources: communication systems, hardware and software equipment, data and people) made of the functional and productive subsystems (computerized numerical control – CNC machines, industrial welding robot);
  • 5 transformer points (transformer ratio of 6/0.4 kV) with installed capacity of 1000 kVA;
  • compressed-air at 4÷6 bar (4 compressors);
  • water from two own wells;
  • natural gas (connection to the natural gas network);
  • thermal power station (7 boilers);
  • technical assistance and maintenance workshop for the machines which the workshops are equipped with;
  • medical center.
